In the future, once we have properly established our business, the basic service we plan to initially offer to our potential customers, who we select, is 2 years rent-free accommodation in a lively small countryside community of people who are carefully selected to be compatible with each other, and likely to get along together, followed by rent payments thereafter that are considerably more affordable than the rent you’d pay to live in similar accommodation in a fashionable urban centre. This is because land in the countryside is much cheaper to purchase than in cities and, because of this you can build and, consequently, rent similar quality accommodation out to people for less money in rural location when compared to urban ones. However, we believe that through curating the initial seed inhabitants that move into our small countryside communities, we can create neighbourhoods that are both more desirable and more affordable places to live than inner city neighbourhoods. Accepted applicants can leave anytime, and there is no obligation to stay after the initial 2 year rent-free period. Obviously we hope that enough residents will enjoy living in our communities, and get along sufficiently well with their neighbours that, after the initial rent-free period, they will be happy to start paying an affordable level of rent to Socibuild.
It’s easy to get into a rut and continue to live a life that is less than satisfactory to avoid the discomfort of change – even if the end result of it is something better.
