We all have good days and bad. Those who are wealthy, and in good health, can easily get along in this world, but when our health suffers, or our reputation takes a hit, many people can find their support network evaporates – and no one is there to help. The sense that our relationships with others, and even our professional positions, are ephemeral and could easily collapse in the event of the slightest setback can leave many people feeling anxious, vulnerable and insecure, however hard they may try to hide it – even at the best of times.
That’s why it’s so important to cultivate an ethic of mutual neighbourly support within Socibuild communities, to ensure that fellow members will be there for one another during times of need. Perhaps, to drop by with food, or medicine, or a kindly word to members that fall ill and to ensure that every member in our community can find someone to talk to during difficult times in their life.
The sense of security and well-being, that an ethic of mutual support creates, is well worth the effort.
A major goal of Socibuild is to build supportive communities that aid each other in times of danger and support one another’s life goals, which, in turn, will enhance everyone’s prospects for success.
